Tickaboo is a reminder app made by Ringlet Labs (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information Tickaboo collects, why, who it is shared with, and how you can delete it.
What we collect

Tickaboo does not collect your location, does not read your messages or photos (apart from the one profile photo you pick), and does not show ads.
Who can see your information
- Friends on a shared reminder or event see your name, photo and its details. Guests of an event can see each other's RSVP.
- Other Tickaboo users can only find you if they already have your phone number saved in their contacts. Your number is never shown to anyone who doesn't already have it.
- Service providers: Tickaboo runs on Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions and Cloud Messaging), which stores and processes data on our behalf. Firebase Analytics helps us count how the app is used. Sign-in links are emailed, and any SMS codes are sent, through Firebase.
We do not sell your information or share it for advertising.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest by Google Firebase. Access rules make sure you can only read reminders and events you are part of, and only you can change your profile.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information while your account exists. Reminders and events stay until they are deleted by the person who created them, or until that person deletes their account.
Delete your account
In the app: open Tickaboo, tap the profile icon (bottom right), then Delete account and confirm.
This permanently deletes your profile, your profile photo, the reminders and events you created and your login. It cannot be undone.
Without the app: email [email protected] from any address with the subject “Delete my Tickaboo account” and the phone number and email you signed up with. We will delete the account within 30 days and confirm by email.
Your choices
- You can turn off contacts or notification access at any time in your phone's settings. Tickaboo keeps working, but it can't find friends or ring without them.
- You can edit or delete reminders and events you created, and change your RSVP at any time, and change your name or photo in your profile.
Children
Tickaboo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be announced in the app.
